Field Terms and Conditions
If you place an order with Feild it is believed that you have read, understood and agreed to the below terms and conditions. Should you have any questions about these Terms and Conditions, please email email@example.com before placing your order.
When we receive your order you will receive an automated e-mail reply acknowledging receipt. No contract shall come into existence until we have accepted your order. Your order will be accepted by us by way of a confirmatory e-mail (‘Confirmation of Order’) which will confirm that we are able to send you the goods you have ordered, the price and the estimated delivery date. We would advise you to immediately check the details contained in the Confirmation of Order, you are able to correct errors in your order up to the point at which you click [“submit”] on your order.
Your statutory rights shall remain unaffected by these Terms and Conditions, and except in accordance with these Terms and Conditions all purchases are non-exchangeable, non-refundable and non-transferable.
Every care has been taken by us in the preparation of the content of our website, in particular to ensure that prices quoted are accurate at the time of posting the product on the website and that all products are fairly described. All prices and offers are subject to change.
We have tried to ensure that the colours of products for sale appearing on our website are as near as possible to the actual products shown. However, the actual colours you see will be dictated by your computer equipment and screen, and therefore we are unable to guarantee the precise colour of the product on delivery. In order to be sure of the colours, we would advise ordering a sample of the tile before placing a larger purchase.
Please note that, should a product be out of stock, or if we are unable to authorise your payment, we will not be able to meet any obligations for the order. If there has been an error in the description or pricing of a product we will contact you before your order is confirmed.
If we have any issues regarding payment for your order we will contact you by phone or email. If we have hand no response within 72 hours your order will be cancelled.
All products are subject to availability. We will inform you as soon as reasonably possible in the event that the goods you have ordered are unavailable. In the event that the goods that you have ordered are unavailable a full refund will be offered.
All prices are displayed on the website in UK sterling. Unless otherwise indicated these are inclusive of UK VAT. Payments can be made in UK sterling either via bank transfer or a debit or credit card.
Tiles are referred to its nominal size, not its actual size. Due to the handcrafted nature of our products, dimensions are approximate and may be subject to a degree of inaccuracy. The number of tiles supplied per square meter is approximate and depends upon the suggested grout joint. A possible variation in shades is considered as a particularity of such products. Tiles may exhibit variations from samples and within a shipped lot.
Feild tries to keep the information on this website up-to-date and correct at all times but we do
not give any warranty to its completeness or correctness and Feild cannot be held responsible for any omissions or errors and the resulting implications from the use of this information.
Feild is not responsible for customer generated mistakes, errors or defects including spelling provided, typographical or grammar errors, order quantity, or other ordering errors.
We will aim to dispatch the goods ordered by you as soon as possible after your order has been accepted by us to the postal address you have given for the receipt of goods. However, we cannot guarantee an exact delivery date. Unless otherwise expressly agreed in writing, an agreed delivery date is not a deadline, but is simply by approximation and is otherwise entirely without obligation. Samples that are in stock will be dispatched as soon as possible however if a product is out of stock the delivery time may be longer and we will endeavour to notify you of this situation.
All of our tiles are made to order and an estimated lead time is stated in the product description. On placing the order, it is understood that you have agreed to these lead times and understood that they are only an approximation. The lead times given are indications only and cannot be guaranteed, they can vary depending on the size of the order and the bespoke nature of the product made.
On occasional circumstances, our delivery companies may not be able to deliver the product due to reasons that are beyond our control. Should an issue like this arrive you will be contacted and told of this issue.
Postal charges payable for goods and samples dispatched in the UK will be notified to you in the confirmatory email. Delivery charges for larger orders may vary depending on the size of the order and the final delivery destination of the goods, this will be stated in your confirmation of order email.
Deliveries outside of the UK may be subject to import taxes and additional charges for which you are solely responsible. Please note that we have no control over these charges and cannot predict their amount.
We are not responsible for goods if they are left unattended in a safe place by the delivery company. Any requests to the delivery company to leave the parcel unattended once delivered is at the customers own risk.
Please ensure that you check all items on receipt, as faulty or damaged items must be reported
within five working days of receiving the parcel.
Bespoke goods are any goods specifically personalised and/or tailored to your specifications.
Orders for bespoke goods cannot be cancelled or changed [once production has started on them].
Bespoke goods which are delivered as described and are in good condition may not be refunded. We reserve the right to charge for re-posting of bespoke goods returned in error.
All our tiles are made to order so we ask that orders cancelled should be done so before production starts. Once production has commenced, a ‘Confirmation of Order’ email will be sent. Should you wish to cancel your order prior to production please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org . Orders cannot be cancelled once production has started and a ‘Confirmation of Order’ email has been sent. There may be occasions when a cancellation request is received after production has started and we will deal with these on a case by case basis.
Where goods are delivered to a third party you will need to be able to return the goods you ordered to us to be able to exercise this right.
Should you wish to return an item, Feild would need to receive this item within 14 days of the receipt in order for a refund or exchange. Personalised, bespoke or made to order products cannot be returned. Please try to return any items in their original packaging (this does not affect your statutory rights). Goods are the responsibility of the purchaser until they reach our warehouse, we would therefore recommend that you take care in packaging your return to prevent any damage to the items or boxes.
With the exception of faulty and damaged goods we are not responsible for the return postage and do advise that you obtain a proof of postage in case the parcel fails to reach us. If an item is returned to us outside of the fourteen day time frame or is in a non re saleable condition a credit note will be issued at the discretion of Feild.
If you wish to cancel your order and return it to us, you must let us know within fourteen working days of receiving your parcel. Please email email@example.com. You will then need to return the whole order to us, at your own expense, if you have already received it. Once we receive the whole order back we will issue a full refund including the original delivery charge paid. Please note this does not apply to bespoke items which cannot be returned unless faulty or damaged.
In the unlikely event of an order not arriving, you contact us to say that you have not received your order we will require you to sign a non receipt form before we can resend your order. This can be sent via email or by the post and must be received back within 7 days.
In the unlikely event that a parcel arrives damaged or faulty please contact us immediately. After 5 working days we cannot accept any claims.
Goods are considered faulty if they are received damaged or where a manufacturing fault occurs within 30 days of purchase; however this does not include the results of normal wear and tear. All orders should be checked upon receipt and if any goods are deemed to be faulty the purchaser should notify Feild within 5 days of the receipt of the order.
Should you return a faulty item, where possible we would ask that you return the items with the original packaging. Please note that, with the exception of faulty items or goods damaged in transit, we are not responsible for return postage.
In case of claim the buyer should put the disputed material at Feild ́s disposal for any defect checking. No claim will be accepted once the material has been installed. Damage caused by inappropriate installation, accident, misuse or improper maintenance is not covered by Feilds products warranty. Variations in colour, shade, tonality, white patches, texture and
crazing are inherent characteristic of Feild tiles and are not defects. Variations in thickness and the surface dimension need to be allowed for because this is an artisan product and as such, no perfect standards are possible. Although Feild supplies an Installation and Maintenance guideline with their tiles, Feild’s liability lies strictly with the supply of products and not the installation.
We are unable to offer a price adjustment on items originally purchased in a sale or on any special promotion items that are temporarily reduced in price. Once an item has been purchased at a discounted sale price, no price adjustment will be given should the product be further reduced in price. We are not able to offer reductions for goods previously purchased but which are later offered in a sale
All promotional codes remain the property of Feild and we reserve the right to stop or remove a promotion at any time without prior warning.
We do not accept any liability arising from any amendments or changes we may make to the information contained in our website, and we reserve the right to alter these Terms and Conditions or the information contained in this website at any time. Any changes made to these Terms and Conditions shall be highlighted, and all purchases made from the date of the amendments shall be subject to the replacement Terms and Conditions. Should you continue to use the website once we have highlighted the changes, you shall be deemed to have accepted all of the amendments we have made.
You shall be responsible for reading and understanding these Terms and Conditions, and we do not accept responsibility for any loss or damage incurred by you or any third party as a result of your failure to do so.
We shall not be liable to any person for any loss or damage whatsoever which may arise from the use of any of the information contained in any of the materials on this website.
All of the rights, including copyright and database rights, contained in this website are owned by Feild. You further agree that you shall only use the website for legitimate, lawful purposes, and any other use shall only be permitted with our written consent.
The content of this website (which includes pages, pictures, logos, photographs, copy and other materials) represent the copyright Feild or it’s technology providers or their respective owners. The
modification, copying, circulation, reproduction, or incorporation of into any other work of part of or all of content available on this website is forbidden, unless it is used for marketing purposes and has received permission from the site owner.
