Hand painted Arabesque tiles

A hand painted floral tile available in a range of colours on a white background glaze. 

These tiles are inspired by the traditional Arabesque design from Deruta, Italy. Usually featuring birds, leaves and flowers, the design has been simplified to create a more uniform pattern. It features interwoven leaves and flowers in a calligraphy style with beautiful detailed visible brushstrokes. 

These terracotta tiles are hand painted by a team of skilled craftsmen in central Italy using traditional majolica techniques. They can be mixed in a variety of layouts and colours or interspersed with plain tiles (on request) to create a bespoke design for your project.

• Lead time on orders is 8 weeks plus delivery

We would recommend ordering a sample before placing an order as we cannot guarantee the colours you see on the screen. This is a hand painted product and as a result there are subtle variations of colour and texture between each tile.
